Do you have a musical talent that you would like to share with our congregation? There are several opportunities within the church for you to get involved. Please find your area of interest and contact the ministry leader or office for more information.
Adult Choir: practices on Tuesdays from 7:00 – 7:45 pm, August through May (follows the school-year calendar). We sing in church once per month and prepare a Christmas and Easter Cantata. This group is low key, and we enjoy making music together!
Anyone interested in joining the choir can contact Holly Campbell firstname.lastname@example.org or 402.880.7811
Joyful Noise Handbell Choir: practices on Monday nights in the Sanctuary from 7:00 – 8:00 pm, August to May.
The Joyful Noise Handbells are a group of people who come together to praise our Lord through the music of handbells. We are people who love the Lord and are not looking for perfection this side of heaven. Those in 8th grade and older who have a basic understanding of music are welcome to attend any practice at any time. We play in our 9:30 am worship service, usually on the 2nd Sunday of each month, September through May. Substitutes are in need throughout the year if you are unable to attend practices on a regular basis.
Please feel free to contact Julie Ray through the church office if you have questions or would like more information about the choir’s responsibilities.
Pianist: We are blessed by the talents of Paul Parker as our regular Sunday Accompanist but occasionally he needs a day off, and we also need someone to accompany the vocal choir during practices and performances. If you are gifted with this musical talent, please contact Holly Campbell or the church office for more details (see Adult Choir above for contact information).
Youth Music: Music is part of the Sunday School program and help is needed on Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 11:15 for practice and several performances throughout the year. If you enjoy working with children and would like to help with this program, please contact Holly Campbell (see above) or Anna Howard through the church office.
