We are the Middle School Youth group at the church! Our name comes from 1 Timothy 4:12:
“Thank you to our church family for your continued support. A HUGE thank you to all those who support Team 4:12 through the breakfasts and their prayers. They help to make mission projects like Kids Against Hunger possible. We will be working with Anna Howard to transition to new leadership and invite parents of next year’s 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to become involved with Team 4:12.”
We meet on Sunday mornings during the school year at 10:45 am in the Team 4:12 room. We also meet on Wednesday evenings during the school year at 6:30 pm for a quick meal and then an hour of time together.
We serve breakfast to the congregation every third Sunday of the month during the school year. It’s a full spread of eggs, ham, sausage, waffles, juice, milk & coffee. Come for the food, stay for the fellowship!
Confirmation is the process for 8th graders (or high school students who have not previously confirmed) to become full members of the church. It is a period of learning about our faith and the United Methodist Church. Students study together, serve together, and grow in their faith. Confirmation sessions will be on Sunday mornings from 10:45 – 11:45 am. We will not meet on holiday weekends as we know many travel. Confirmation is taught by lay members of the congregation and Pastor Gary. Click here or watch the newsletter for upcoming class information
We want our church to be a place where adults and students can grow in Christ in a safe and trustworthy environment. Our staff and volunteers are certified through the Safe Gatherings programs instituted in all United Methodist Churches in the Great Plains Conference. Click here for more information.
